My Story
From processes
to intelligent systems
Industrial Engineer from Colombia. Moved to Australia to reinvent my career. Now building AI systems and software — and looking for the right team to grow with.
The story
I started as an Industrial Engineer in Colombia. Not because I knew exactly what I wanted — but because I was drawn to the idea of understanding how systems work, how processes fail, and how to fix them at the root.
After graduating, I pursued a postgraduate specialization in Technology Project Management. That's where I first saw the intersection: engineering discipline meets software and IT. I was hooked. I joined academic committees, led projects, and graduated at the top of my cohort.
Then I made the biggest bet of my career: I moved to Australia.
It wasn't a gap year. It was a deliberate reset. Two years of English immersion, cultural adaptation, and building from zero. Australia forced me to become a clearer communicator, a more resilient problem-solver, and a more self-directed professional.
The Master of IT brought everything together. Databases, machine learning, software engineering, AI agents — I wasn't just learning theory. I was building. And building showed me where I want to go: AI systems that actually solve problems.
That's where I am now. Finishing the degree. Shipping projects. Looking for the right team to join and grow with in Australia.
